Kalahari Explorer Agency Services means Kalahari Explorer acts as your agent — this covers payment collection and payout (the simplest option: it works with both EFT and card payments, no extra setup) and, as our relationship grows, can extend to other agency services we provide on your behalf. Your own DPO Merchant Account means card bookings pay you directly — you can still choose to also accept EFT, which will always route through Agency Services since a bank transfer can only land in one account. How Kalahari Explorer fees work
- 13% commission on the total price of each booking — this comes out of your payout, guests never see it added on top.
- Guests always see one final price. No hidden service fees are ever added for them.
- Want extra visibility? Highlighted Listing adds 3% (16% total), or Featured Partner adds 6% (19% total). You can request either when submitting a listing, and a Kalahari Explorer admin will follow up before it's actually granted.
- You can add optional extras to any listing (e.g. a Game Drive, an Airport Transfer) — priced by you, or marked free — which guests may choose to add to their booking.
Redeem a voucher
Enter a Kalahari Explorer Gift Card / Travel Universe code from any guest, or an Experience Voucher / Curated Package code naming your business — redemption pays out the full voucher value (or your agreed share of a Curated Package) to you, since Kalahari Explorer already collected its fee at the point of sale.
